A very friendly gentleman who puts you at ease straight away with this calm and professional approach to care. Mr. Jones is happy to discuss exactly what the patient wants, to come to the best possible option for you as an individual. I asked for Mr.Jones for my recent operation as I had an operation 5 years ago when I was in his care. I cannot recommend Hywel Jones enough.

I was due for a knee replacement operation. I was concerned about anaesthesia because I suffer badly from apnoea. Dr Jones called me and spent a good deal of time explaining everything that would occur. He took complete ownership of my worry over apnoea and after the call I was very confident. His explanation was what happened; he came to check I was OK after the procedure and was very professional. He was quite exceptional and I thank him.

Hywel Jones greatest attributes are his empathy with his patient and his sense of humour His skills as an anaesthetist aren’t bad either I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing his services

Dr Jones visited me prior to my operation and explained what would be involved during my operation. He put me at my ease when I arrived at the operating theatre and explained exactly what he would be doing at each step. Following my operation, he visited me again to ensure all was well and how I was feeling which I really appreciated.

I had been feeling very nervous all morning waiting for my operation, the minute Dr Jones walked in and started to talk to me, all the stress went. He was informative, kind, professional, a real gentleman. He talked me through what was going to happen before and also after the operation, which really helped. it was also lovely that he came to check up on me after the operation. We are lucky to have him in this profession
